2020 Rouleur Strawberry Fields Pinot Meunier

Twenty percent whole bunch inclusion with maturation taking place in 300 litre French oak hogsheads. Translucent cherry red colour with a very light red tinged hue. Violet top notes mix with ripe red cherry and strawberry scents which have a dried clove overlay. Some forest floor and spicy cedar scents are also evident. Light and pretty but possessing good intensity and a supple feel, the palate is decorated with spicy red cherry and strawberry fruits. Elements of forest floor and dried clove ensue. Lively acidity and polished tannins lead into a bright savoury aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
