Dense inky black heart with a very deep, dark red black hue. Intense blackberry, liquorice and black cherry aromas fill the nostrils with vanillin cedar, earthy mocha and spice notes ensuing. Rich and plush yet far from over the top, the boldly flavoured palate is awash with blackberry, liquorice and subtle black cherry fruits which are supported by a sturdy tannin base. Good poise and refinement with vanillin cedar, fennel and peppered earth elements ensuing. Concludes with a long pepper infused aftertaste.|
