An exuberant purple tinged mousse holds well over a black dark red coloured base that sees an exceptionally fine bead rising to the surface. Pronounced ripe dark plum, liquorice and blackberry scents mix with vanillin oak and hints of earthy dark chocolate. Rich blackberry, liquorice and dark chocolate flavours are underscored by toasty vanillin oak. Very crisp acidity and stern tannins lead into a dry, chalky edged finish that shows moderate length.
