Great everyday drinking from a top tier Coonawarra Producer – One Parcel Only.

A blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. Deep black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Lifted blackcurrant aromas are complimented by mulberry, cigar box, dried herb, faint black olive and spice notes. Medium bodied, the palate carries generous red to black currant and mulberry fruits over a cedary tobacco, dried herb, black olive and spicy earth back drop. Fine grained tannins imparting a sturdy feel across the long, savoury mint laced conclusion.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.

Some graphite and pencil shaving, dark chocolate and espresso. Plums and lilac unfurl in the middle of your palate with some chewy, fine-grained tannins. How, in this economy, can one release such a wine for this price? It's beyond generous and an absolute steal. A long length of flavour; a wine for steak (rib-eye in particular). Run, don’t walk to secure the remaining bottles of this. Drink by 2029.
