2020 M. Chapoutier La Ciboise - Last Stocks

A blend of 60% Grenache Noir and 40% Syrah aged for 6 months in concrete vats. Deep dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Spicy dark raspberry and liquorice aromas intermix with hints of dried clove and peppered earth notes. Rich black cherry, liquorice and black raspberry fruits are backed by chewy tannins. Scorched earth and peppered dried herb characters lie underneath. Good flesh with a slightly muscular yet generously fruited finish.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
