2020 Kumeu Village Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Aromas of ripe pear, nectarine and dried honey drift from the glass followed by some citrusy nougat, biscuity oak and faint crème brulee notes. A combination of intensity, volume and freshness, the palate features luscious nectarine and peach fruits over notions of dried honey and citrusy nougat characters. Dry, flinty finish with brisk acidity and a long fruit driven aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
