2020 Jim Barry Cover Drive Cabernet Sauvignon

Fruit was sourced from Coonawarra and the Clare Valley with maturation taking place in French oak for 12 months. Midnight black in colour with a deep dark red hue. Sailing from the glass are aromas of blackcurrant infused with a mix of bay leaf and black olive which are trailed by some dusty cedar and spicy tobacco notes. Refined and mid weighted, the palate is amply endowed with red to black currant and mulberry fruits which meld into a dusty cedar, tobacco, black olive and bay leaf infused back drop. Fine grained tannins with an elegant conclusion.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
