2020 Inkwell Perfect Day Shiraz

A rich, concentrated McLaren Shiraz that shows some muscularity across the long expansive finish.

Matured in French oak barrels. Inky black heart with a deep very dark red black tinged hue. Pronounced aromas of ripe blackberry, liquorice and dark plum fill the nostrils followed by some smoky vanillin cedar, dark chocolate and peppered dried meat notes. Rich and concentrated with ripe blackberry, liquorice, dark plum and black cherry fruits making a plush entry. Earthy mocha, vanillin oak and peppered fennel elements also make an appearance. A sturdy tannin structure lends some muscularity across the long seductive and expansive finish.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
