Impenetrable inky black heart with a deep dark red black hue. Sailing out of the glass are ripe blackberry, dark plum and liquorice aromatics with tail notes of vanillin oak, inky earth and spice. Rich and opulent in its texture the full bodied palate dishes up ripe blackberry, liquorice and dark chocolate flavours over an earthy underbelly. Some vanillin cedar and spice also chime in. Slightly inky finish with ripe yet sturdily built tannins leading into a long generously fruited aftertaste.
