2020 Hay Shed Hill Shiraz Tempranillo
A juicy medium to full bodied blend with a grippy feel to the finish.
Midnight black heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Lifted scents of blackberry and liquorice mix with dark to black cherry, scorched earth, vanillin spice and pepper notes. Rich blackberry, liquorice and black cherry fruits are layered across the juicy medium to full bodied palate. Notions of spicy vanillin cedar, scorched earth and peppered meats lie underneath. A muscular tannin structure lends to a grippy feel to the amply fruited mid length conclusion.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.

Other Reviews…..
Now aren’t these two varieties good friends. Each brings their best to this savoury, juicy wine. Lovely plump and ripe fruit comes infused with red licorice, sarsaparilla and dried herbs. Fine grit to the tannins and succulence throughout the mid-weighted palate. A little ripper.
