Rich, concentrated and thick with firmly built tannins and a long potent finish.

Impenetrable inky black heart with a very deep dark red black hue. Intense ripe blackcurrant, liquorice and black cherry scents combine with vanillin cedar, tobacco, earthy dark chocolate, leather and spice notes. Rich, concentrated and thick in its flow, lavish blackcurrant, liquorice and black cherry fruits saturate the heavy weight palate. Earthy dark chocolate, vanillin cedar, leather and mint characters lurk underneath. Firmly built tannins have a burly feel imparting a sense of chewiness across the long potent finish.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.

Super saturated purple/crimson in the glass with notes of blackberry jam, blackcurrant pastille and brandied fruits cut with hints of cedar, tobacco lead, licorice, dark chocolate, crushed rock, blackforest cake, dried herbs, purple flowers and earth. There's a lovely flow here ... elegant despite all its inherent horsepower and concentration, finishing long, strong and true with distinct western Barossa roots. Drink by 2038.
