Other Reviews....
A slightly more deeply pitched nose displays liqueur-like aromas of red and dark raspberry, poached plum and cassis. There is excellent concentration to the intense and well-detailed flavors that culminate in a moderately rustic, powerful and serious bitter pit fruit-inflected finale that is even more firmly structured. At least some patience suggested. Drink from 2027+.

Allen Meadows - Burghound

The 2020 Chambolle-Musigny Les Athets reveals aromas of sweet raspberries, orange rind, rose petals and musk. Medium to full-bodied, nicely concentrated and precise, it's lively and penetrating, concluding with a chalky finish. This derives from a precocious site below Beaux Bruns and Aux Echanges.

William Kelley - Wine Advocate (Jan 2022)

The 2020 Chambolle-Musigny Les Athets is quite backward on the nose with blackberry, undergrowth and touches of ink coming through with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit, sorbet-fresh with veins of orange zest and quince that enliven the finish. Quite Vosne-like in style. Give this 3-4 years in bottle. Drink 2025-2037.

Neal Martin - Vinous

Bright dense purple, showing the excellent colour saturation of the vintage. This is pretty powerful but has not lost its Chambolle character and has kept fine tannins with a fresh crunch to finish. Cherry and raspberry notes in the fruit profile, good length.
