This is also ripe while managing to remain cool and airy with its combination of plum, violet, anise and newly turned earth wisps. The delicious and vibrant medium-bodied flavors possess solid mid-palate density that contrasts somewhat with the austere and lingering finish where the tannins are presently slightly raspy. Drink through 2030+.

Allen Meadows - Burghound

The 2020 Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru has one-third whole bunch. It has a precise bouquet and very pure with ebullient red fruit laced with crushed stone. Wonderful focus. The palate is medium-bodied with silky smooth tannins, fine depth and cohesion, well-integrated oak with dark fruit and brown spices emerging towads the persistent finish. Excellent. Closure: Diam. Drink 2025-2050.

Very erratic rows here, I am told, so it is ploughed by horse. 13% alcohol, 3.65pH, one third whole cluster. I loved the bouquet of this wine which has ethereal qualities. Then, on the palate, I found it a little less concentrated than I was expecting. It will still be a delicious wine though, in the medium term.
