2020 Conde Valdemar Crianza

A fleshy medium weight Tempranillo blend with chewy tannins and a ripe, juicy finish.

A blend of 82% Tempranillo, 11% Mazuelo, 4% Graciano and 3% Maturana matured for 18 months in American oak barrels. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Sweet black raspberry and liquorice aromas mix with vanillin earth and spice notes. Making a fleshy medium weight entrance onto the palate are rich black cherry and black raspberry fruits which overlay a vanillin spice, liquorice and earth back drop. Chewy tannins with a ripe, juicy mid length conclusion.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.

A juicy and well-balanced Rioja with spiced plums and a touch of chocolate. Slightly light but crunchy, with a medium body and a juicy, medium-long finish extended by creamy wood spices. A nice, friendly Rioja crianza. Drink now.
