2020 Albamar Albarino

Bright pale straw colour with a watery hue. Lifted ripe pear and lime aromas mix with hints of honeysuckle, bees wax and subtle stony notes. Delicious pear, lime and green apple fruits flood the mouth with subtle notions of honeysuckle the undercard. Finishes dry and flinty with brisk acidity and a vibrantly fruited mineral laced aftertaste.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.

From Rias Baixas, this is a ripper rendition of the variety, delivering detail, awesome saline minerality and lots of drinkability. Opens with that oyster shell scent, sea spray, anise and lemon in mineral water. Tingly in the palate, beautifully minerally and so very fresh in feel; more of the lemon in mineral water, but strong, concentrated and bright. Has a glass shard feel to texture, crisp and mouth-watering. Easy to love, really easy to get into. Drink 2021-2023.
