A rich, juicy Cabernet Merlot blend that carries ample weight and flesh.
A blend of 64% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot, 7% Malbec and 7% Cabernet Franc aged for 18 months in French oak hogshead barrels. Midnight black heart with a dark red black tinged hue. Intense ripe blackcurrant and liquorice aromas laced with chocolate spearmint evolve from the glass followed by some earth and spicy vanillin cedar notes. Rich juicy blackcurrant and red liquorice fruits carry ample weight and flesh across the medium to full bodied palate. Minty earth like characters, vanillin cedar and spice lend further nuance across the back half. Sturdy yet ripe tannin structure with a long deeply fruited conclusion.
