2019 Woodfield Estate Cabernet Shiraz

Elegant and medium bodied with some tertiary elements coming through on the refined finish.

Matured for 16 months in new French oak barrels. Deep dark red black tinged colour with a very dark red hue. Nosing offers up aromas of mulberry, red currant and red liquorice which are interwoven with vanillin cedar, delicate earthy tobacco and spice notes. The elegant medium bodied palate features red currant and mulberry fruits on the front half with tertiary elements of earth, subtle tobacco, dried herbs and spicy vanillin cedar lying underneath. Polished feel with fine grained tannins. Some delicate leather elements emerge through the refined medium to long finish.
