Bright pale straw colour with a watery hue. Aromas of pear and red apple have a light dried honey overlay followed by some spice end notes. Quite luscious and round in its feel the palate sports ripe pear and apple fruits over a dried honey, subtle quince and spice background. Finishes dry with a bite of fresh acidity and a generously textured medium to long aftertaste.

Other Reviews….
A small portion goes into old oak but this is mostly made and matured in stainless steel. The Intrepid Vino is James Scarebrook but I couldn’t find his name anywhere on the winery’s website.
This tastes of pear, chalk, honey and sea-spray and its quality is high. It offers texture and flavour within a dry context and it delivers it with more-than-a-little character. Good wine. Well made and styled. Drink 2020-2022.
