2019 Vagnoni Toscana Rosso

A blend of 70% Sangiovese, 10% Canaiolo, 5% Pragnolino, 5% Colorino and 5% indigenous grapes. Deep dark red core with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Ripe red currant aromas mix with dried herbs, tobacco, earth and spice. Rich red currant and spicy red cherry fruits carry good weight across the medium to full bodied palate underpinned by bright acidity and firm chewy tannins. Earthy tobacco, spicy cedar, leather and dried herb characters are also apparent. Juicy yet rustic aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
