2019 The Dilettantes Sangiovese

Dark red in colour with black shaded edges and a dark to brick red hue. Spicy red currant and plum aromas are married to earthy tobacco and dried herb notes. Medium bodied and possessing a rustic old world feel the palate features spicy red currant flavours over an earthy dried herb and tobacco background. Bright acidity and chalky tannins with a slightly austere aftertaste of dusty earth and old leather.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
