2019 Sidewood Shiraz

Matured in French oak for 15 months. Black as night core with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Aromas of black cherry and liquorice infused with blackpepper are followed by some distinct smoked meat and graphite like notes. Medium bodied with an elegant cool climate feel, meaty dark to black cherry and liquorice flavours morph into scorched earth, spicy vanillin cedar, black olive, dried herb and blackpepper elements. Fine grained tannins with a meaty texture to the blackpepper infused aftertaste.
