2019 Shadowfax Macedon Pinot Noir

Matured in French oak. Deep dark red core with black tinged edges and a bright purple red hue. Fragrant ripe cherry aromatics lined with hints of violets intermingle with wild strawberry, forest floor, fresh herb and a whiff of youthful inkiness. The light savoury palate serves up freshly crushed cherry and strawberry fruits which are underscored by inky earth like elements, infusions of fresh herbs and spice. Bright finish with sturdy underlying tannins providing structure to the medium length aftertaste.
