2019 Rusden Driftsand Grenache Shiraz Mataro

Deep dark red in colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Nosing offers up spicy dark raspberry, ripe cherry and liquorice scents trailed by some vanillin confectionary notes. Lush spicy dark fruits are overwhelmed by prominent vanillin oak on the back half with some spicy dried herbs also chiming in. Soft velvety tannins with an opulent vanillin oak laden aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
