2019 Rogues Lane Heathcote Shiraz

A rich, voluptuous power packed Heathcote Shiraz.

Partial whole bunch fermentation with maturation taking place in French oak (40% new) for a period of 20 months. Impenetrable pitch black heart with a near equally deep dark red black hue. Wafting through the nostrils are aromas of ripe blackberry, liquorice and black cherry followed by some spicy vanillin cedar and peppered fennel notes. Rich, decadently textured and lavish, the full bodied palate is engulfed with black cherry, liquorice, blackberry and black plum fruits. Vanillin cedar, subtle scorched earth and peppered fennel elements lie in the background. Power packed it has velvet smooth tannins and a long voluptuous finish.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
