2019 Quealy KKO1 Pinot Noir

Certified organic and matured for 15 months in old 500 litre puncheons. Dark red colour with subtle tinges of black around the edges and a bright red hue. Blossoming out of the glass are perfumed like scents of violets, dark cherries, anise and ripe strawberries with smoky herbs, forest floor and spice also evident. Delicious ripe cherry and strawberry fruits power across the supplely textured palate with notions of anise, fresh herb infusions, light forest floor and spice flowing onto the back half. Silky tannins and a perfectly judged freshness lead into a long moreish aftertaste. A superb Mornington Pinot that has the variety’s trademark power without weight trait.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
