2019 Pyrette Heathcote Shiraz

Produced by Bindi Wines from the highest block of a low-yielding Colbinabbin vineyard on the Mount Camel Range in Heathcote. The wine is fermented in 1000L vats and matured in French Oak for one year.

50% of the fruit comes off Colbinabbin Estate, the remainder from Col Mountain. Alluring purple/black colour. The wine is intense, yet manages a refinement that is the mark of Bindi. Expect an amalgam of savoury flavours with bitumen, licorice and aniseed balls. It's more medium to fuller bodied, with lithe tannins. While there's a richness and depth of flavour that makes you step back, it's all in admiration.
