2019 Principia Pinot Noir

Matured in French oak for approximately 18 months. Dark red in colour with black shaded edges and a light red hue. Fragrant violet top notes are followed by red to dark cherry and wild strawberry scents which meld into forest floor, fresh herb and delicate spicy cedar notes. Light in body with a fresh feel, expansive flavours of red cherries and winter strawberries infused with forest floor fan across the palate like a peacocks tail. Subtle vanillin cedar, infusions of fresh herbs, a faint gaminess and spicy stalk characters sit in the background. Supple in its feel with polished tannins and bright acidity it finishes long and elegant.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
