2019 Principia Kindred Hill Pinot Noir

Produced from a mixture of Pinot Noir clones - MV6, Pommard and 115 with no whole bunches included in the ferment and maturation taking place in French oak (20% new) for approximately 18 months.
Bright dark red colour with subtle tinges of black to the edges and a light red hue. Sailing from the glass are intense aromatics of violet, red cherries and winter strawberries followed by fresh herbs, sappy cedar, spiced meats and forest floor. The elegant red fruited palate is underpinned by tangy like acidity with forest floor, sappy cedar, dried meat and infusions of fresh herbs adding interest. Nervy feel with refined yet structural tannins and a long savoury finish that has some spice to it.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.
