2019 Pooley Gewurztraminer

Bright straw colour with a subtle apricot tinge. Soaring out of the glass are intense rosewater and lychee aromatics with notions of ripe pear, musk, Turkish delight and spice also evident. Mouthfilling flavours of lychee, ripe pear and musk are layered across the palate with tremendous power and intensity, showing excellent varietal character. Luscious in it’s feel it finishes off dry with some residual sugar evident. Subtle Turkish delight and spice characters also make an appearance. Perfectly judged acidity adds freshness to a long aftertaste. A delicious, highly addictive white.
