Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. Spicy Morello cherry scents intermix with black plum, liquorice, earth and cinnamon. Light to medium weight the palate features a combination of dried and dark cherry fruits over scorched earth, cinnamon and spice. Fine grained tannins with a modest yet savoury aftertaste.
