Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. Nosing offers up aromas of ripe black cherries and liquorice which intermixes with scorched earth and spice notes. Rich and full in the mouth, juicy black cherry and liquorice fruits are supported by ripe chewy tannins and bright acidity. Toasty vanillin oak and spice characters lie underneath. Dry, slightly grippy finish decorated with lush black fruits. A very ripe example of Sangiovese.
