Matured on yeast lees in French oak hogsheads of which 30% were new. Brilliant very pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. White peach and nectarine fruits flow effortlessly from the glass followed by subtle dried honey, citrusy nougat and faint gun flint notes. Fleshy white peach and pear flavours overlay a back drop of light biscuity oak, nougat and infusions of gun flint. Finishes fresh with a nicely rounded mid length aftertaste.
