2019 McGlashan Wallington Estate Pinot Noir

Matured for 12 months in French oak. Deep dark red core with black tinged edges and a bright dark red hue. Ripe dark to black cherry and anise aromas sail out of the glass trailed by lightly smoked vanillin cedar, forest floor and spicy dried herbs. Delicious ripe cherry, winter strawberry and anise flavours make a supple entry onto the light to mid weighted palate. Spicy lightly toasted cedar, forest floor and dried herb characters sit underneath. Polished tannin structure with a generous medium length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
