Here the nose is really quite pretty with its perfumed aromas of red currant, cherry, raspberry, spice and a floral top note. The mouthfeel of the middle weight flavors is notably finer with excellent concentration and punch along with a lovely minerality that slowly emerges as the austere, structured, and quite serious finish sits on the palate. This first-rate effort should age effortlessly and is also worthy of your interest. Drink from 2031+.

Aromas of raspberries, plums, peonies and warm spices introduce the 2019 Fleurie Grille-Midi, a medium to full-bodied, layered and lively wine that's delicate and refined, with ripe tannins and a succulent core of fruit. As was the case in 2018, this is one of the most elegant wines in the range. Drink 2021 - 2035.
