Rich black fruits make an opulent entrance but firmish tannins and tertiary flavours overtake the back half.
Deep dark red black core with a dark brick red hue. Ripe blackcurrant, liquorice and earthy plum scents sail out of the glass trailed by old vanillin cedar, tobacco and spicy leather notes. Rich blackcurrant, ripe plum and liquorice flavours make an opulent entrance. Earthy vanillin cedar, leather and spice elements overtake the back half. Sturdy tannins impart a firmish feel across the mid length finish.
