2019 Lenton Brae Southside Chardonnay

Fermented with wild yeasts and matured in new and used French oak. Brilliant pale straw colour with a distinct greenish tinge running around the outskirts and a watery hue. Lifted nectarine, citrus and subtle grapefruit aromas intermingle with light dried honey, biscuity oak and gun flint notes. Light and brisk, flavours of nectarine, citrus and dried honey meld into faint biscuity oak and stony mineral elements. Finishes dry and fresh with a gentle creaminess emerging on the aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
