2019 Leconfield Coonawarra Chardonnay

Barrel fermented and matured on lees for 10 months. Bright pale straw to straw colour with a watery hue. Aromas of peach, ripe nectarine and dried honey show good elevation with hints of crème brulee, nougat and spice also present. Combining a textural fullness with freshness are rich peach and honeycomb flavours. Notions of crème brulee, subtlety roasted almonds and spicy nougat ensue. Finishes long, amply weighted and generous.
