Intense aromas of blackberries, sweet tobacco, cracked pepper and violets. Medium-to full-bodied with firm tannins that are long and intense. Yet, there’s polish and focus to the wine. Finesse, too. So drinkable now, but will improve age. Screw cap.

Blackberry, charcuterie, spiced plum and licorice. On the palate this is taut and fresh, with fine layers of silty tannins. Good length of flavour rounds out this spicy, savoury wine. Very elegant.
