Other Reviews....
An interesting and relatively broad-ranging nose includes notes of white pepper, iodine, quinine and pretty floral scents. The plump, round and fleshy flavors possess a beguiling texture but not the same intensity and particularly so on the borderline fat finish. To be clear, this is by no means heavy or lacking vibrancy, but it seems clear that it should be drunk on the earlier side compared to many of these 1ers. Drink 2023+.

Aromas of peach, apricot, honey, white flowers and iodine preface the 2019 Chablis 1er Cru Vaillons, a medium to full-bodied, satiny and charming wine that's the most demonstrative premier cru in the cellar this year. Drink 2023 - 2040.

Fresh lemon colour. Saline nose right from the start. Ripe enough to have, some floral touches to the bouquet as well. The same idea continues through on the palate, a little bit of spice from the ripeness, but without losing the lemon zest. Less determinedly dry than in, some years.
