2019 Hochkirch Village Pinot Noir

Certified biodynamic. Opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Potent black cherry, liquorice and rhubarb scents leap out of the glass mixing with scorched earth, dried herb and stalky cedar notes along the way. Rich black cherry and liquorice fruits overlay some Morello cherry, toasty cedar, earth, smoked meats and spicy dried herb characters. Generously weighted and supple in its feel with velvety yet sturdily built tannins, it shows great power and finishes long and ripe.
Drink over the 5-6 years.
