Hand-harvested fruit from the estate vineyard in Marananga. Basket pressed; matured 21 months in seasoned American oak barrels; unfined and unfiltered. Inimitable Greenock Creek magnitude. Deep purple black. Solid, looming and blocky. Extractive fruit depth collides with dark chocolate and mocha American oak in a display of firm, grainy tannins. Plum jam and prunes conclude sweet and spirity, but nonetheless uphold freshness and persistence. Drink by 2024.
