2019 Fraser Gallop Estate Parterre Chardonnay

Wild yeast fermented and matured in barrel for 9 months. Brilliant pale straw colour with a distinguished greenish tone to the edges and a watery hue. Aromas of white peach meld into dried honey and lemon butter notes with hints of bees wax and faint gun flint also evident. Elegant and taut yet possessing a gentle fleshiness, the palate has a vibrant flavour profile of nectarine and citrus fruits over subtle lemon butter and gun flint characters. Finishes dry and very fresh with a refined aftertaste that has some tang to it.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.

This is a very taut, punchy style with piercing aromas and flavors of lemons and yellow grapefruit, delivered in a sleekly defined shape on the palate. The length and focus are impressive. Drink or hold. Screw cap.
