2019 Fattoria Fugnano da Fugnano Vernaccia di San Gimignano

Brilliant very pale straw colour with a greenish tinged outskirts and a watery hue. Fresh pear, green apple and lime scents escape from the glass followed by some fragrant herb and stony mineral notes. Crunchy green apple and lime flavours infused with fresh herbs overlay a back drop of wet slate and flinty mineral characters. Crisp acidity finishing light and dry with a zesty aftertaste that picks up subtle accents of almond.
