2019 Errazuriz Chardonnay
Sourced from Errazuriz Aconcagua Costa vineyard, the juice was fermented in used French oak barrels for between 15 to 20 days, and then underwent 45% malolactic fermentation. The wine was then aged for 11 months in used French oak barrels.
Brilliant pale straw colour with a faint greenish tinge around the edges and a watery hue. Intense aromatics of white peach and tropical fruits jump out of the glass followed by some melon, subtle dried honey and spice notes. Rich, fleshy and vibrant the palate is engulfed with white peach and melon fruits which sit over a back drop of dried honey, faint cashew and spice. Finishes with a burst of citrus freshness on the medium to long mineral laced aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
A round, flavorful white with citrus and dried fruit, such as peaches and apples. It’s medium-bodied with dried fruit, creamy texture and linear, vibrant acidity at the very dry finish. Drink or hold.
