Totally opaque black core with a dark red black tinged hue. Pronounced aromatics of ripe blackberry, liquorice and dark chocolate flood the nostrils followed by some dark plum, vanillin cedar and spicy earth. Plush and deeply fruited, the medium to full bodied palate is redolent in spicy dark plum, blackberry and liquorice flavours. Vanillin cedar, earth and a subtle dusting of pepper ensue. Polished tannin structure with a generously textured medium to long aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
Alc. 13.5%

Other Reviews....
Cool-climate shiraz, people: get around it! White pepper, exotic spice and red fruit. Abundance and opulence with restraint. A core of intense fruit and fine-structured tannins. This is a banger. A beautiful wine that whistles a tune of purity – what expression! Red liquorice to boot. Absolutely yes. Drink by 2035.
