2019 Domaine Wachau Gruner Veltliner Federspiel Terrassen

Brilliant watery colour with greenish tinged edges. Aromas of freshly sliced pear, red apple and lime fill the olfactory senses with faint quince and wet slate notes also evident. Delicious pear, juicy red apple and lime fruits have plenty of moreish appeal. Texturally well rounded with a slatey mineral back drop, it finishes dry, fresh and crisp with a delightfully long aftertaste.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.

The nose speaks subtly of green pear, lemon zest and peppery green leaves. A slender, crisp palate unites all these notions, with fine freshness and a lovely herbal zing on the dry, appetizing finish. The lemon zestiness rings long.
