Other Reviews....
Somber and inexpressive aromas of various dark berries, earth, the sauvage and pretty floral wisps introduce the acceptably dense but attractively textured medium weight flavors that possess unusually good refinement for a young Clos de Vougeot, all wrapped in a youthfully austere finish that flashes impressive depth and persistence. While this quality effort will need 12 to 15 years to reach its apogee, it's not so structured that it couldn't be enjoyed at around 7 to 8 years of age. Drink from 2031+.

Allen Meadows - Burghound

Rich deep crimson to purple colour, again with a quieter nose, but it is balanced and not over ripe. Indeed, there is a crispness to the raspberry fruit at the front end, opening out to a fleshier finish as the oak adds its two bits worth. Well organised wine which will need time to develop personality.
