2019 Domaine Fazi Ile de Beaute Rose

The Fazi vineyard is situated on the sandy east coast of Corsica and is planted to the indigenous variety of Sciaccarellu as well as Merlot, Grenache and Cinsault. Established by Vincent Fazi in the 1970s, this vineyard produces only rosé wines. Translucent pale salmon tinged colour with a watery hue. Delicate peach, raspberry and light musk aromas are trailed by stony end notes. Slippery and texturally rounded yet light on its feet the palate dishes up a savoury flavour profile of peach, raspberry and light infusions of musk over a wet stone back drop. Finishes dry and brisk with a dash of spice to the aftertaste.
