2019 Curator Wine Co. Cabernet Sauvignon

Matured in a combination of French (15% new) and American oak. Magnificent inky black in colour with a deep dark red black hue. Jumping out of the glass is a mix of ripe blackcurrant, dark plum and liquorice scents which are intermeshed with vanillin cedar, subtle dried herb and spice notes. Deep, rich and concentrated the palate is engulfed with ripe blackcurrant, plum and liquorice fruits. Traces of choc mint, vanillin oak and spice ensue. A nicely balanced freshness complimenting the plush texture. Velvet smooth tannins with excellent power and a long opulent aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
