2019 Chateau Rayne Vigneau (375ml)
Other Reviews....
Pale lemon-gold in color, the 2019 Rayne-Vigneau comes galloping out of the glass with energetic scents of lemon tart, key lime pie and blood orange with suggestions of beeswax, powdered ginger, jasmine and acacia honey plus a waft of spice cake. The palate is decadently rich and yet beautifully poised with a racy line of freshness providing a firm backbone to all those layers of sweet, candied citrus peel flavors, finishing long and perfumed. Wow, just, wow—Rayne Vigneau knocks it out of the park this year!

Very dense, layered young Sauternes with cooked-apple, lemon-curd and dried-lemon character. It’s full-bodied, very sweet and fruity. I like the creamy texture here.
